Random Positives

 Every once in a while, when I think that there has been too much negative about, I do what I call 'random positives'. Might be a word or a phrase that I think of when I see a friend's name.  Or just a nice thing to tell them.  then I send them a private message, sharing that bit of sunshine.   I love doing it.  Sometimes my timing of them is very good.  I don't know if it is, or just that it's so rare to get positives.   Most of my life I didn't have many friends, as such.  I was a loner.  It's only been in the last dozen years or so that I have had/made long term friends.  I'm very blessed to have the glorious group of people who call me friend.  I want to share that with them.  The blessing I feel, knowing they are there.  that's why I do it.  Golden rule.  Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.  And do it first.  Smile first.  compliment first.  be the amazing thing y...

Grammar rant #1

 So, I'm gonna put my grammar rants here. Female is an adjective. It can be used in very restricted ways as a noun, but in general, it is an adjective. You can call me female, but don't call me a female. I suppose you could use the phrase Paulette is a female Homo sapiens. But, again, it is an adjective in that sentence, so falls under acceptable usage.
